How It Works
A quick guide to the Ping Pong Leaderboard
Getting Started
Add everyone who plays to the Players page. Each player starts with an ELO of 1000.
Mark players as inactive if they've left — they'll stay in history but won't appear in unplayed pairings.
Recording Matches
Go to Record after a match. Select the winner and loser, enter the score, and submit. The leaderboard updates instantly.
You can also tap Record from the Unplayed page next to any pair — it pre-fills the players.
ELO Rating
ELO transfers points from the loser to the winner based on the rating gap:
- →Beating a higher-rated player earns more points
- →Beating a lower-rated player earns fewer points
- →Losing to a stronger player costs fewer points
Scores do not affect ELO — only wins and losses.

Seasons
When a period ends, click End Season on the Rankings page. Standings are saved to History and all ELO ratings reset to 1000.
